On April 10, Bill and I will begin our Portugal adventure, which will be mostly spent touring the Douro River countryside by tandem bicycle and river cruise ship. We will fly into Lisbon, spending just two nights there, walking the medieval streets of Alfama and Baixa and doing a food tour. Then north to Porto by high speed rail. After taking a couple days in Porto for sightseeing and assembling our bike, we will join up with Santana Adventures and head upriver to the Spanish border.
